Youth Summer 2021
Hornet Tennis Camp's goal is to provide high-quality instruction in a fun atmosphere primarily for novice and intermediate tennis players. Current and former Edina High School players work with campers in a positive, encouraging and fun manner. Camp is designed to teach fundamentals, rules and etiquette through fun drills and contests while promoting good sportsmanship and kindness to others. Our camp format maintains a low ratio of 3-6 campers per court/coach to promote a personalized experience. The extended camp time also allows for match play.

Maddie Bowers has just completed her 4th year of tennis at Edina High School and this summer will mark her 3rd year of coaching tennis. Previously, she has partnered with the city of Edina to coach one-on-one tennis lessons and last year she started her own developmental tennis camp for young players. Maddie loves spending time outside on the courts and cannot wait for another summer as an HTC director to share her passion for tennis with kids!
Olivia Engen has been playing tennis since elementary school and has been a member of the Edina Girls Tennis team since her freshmen year, serving as a captain her junior and senior years. Previously, Olivia has led private tennis lessons and co-directed her own tennis camp last summer.
