Youth / Expand Your World & Enrichment -
Youth Winter/Spring 2023
Basic bike set up, identification, shifting adjustments, brake adjustments, how to safety check your bike, preparing a bike for selling, as well as many other helpful tips & tricks. If you take another class you can start where you left off and move to the next level of learning.
We highly encourage you to bring your bike to class. If this isn't possible, that's okay. We will have a couple bikes available to work on.

Erik Bloom
Erik's passion for teaching started when opening a youth bike program east of St. Paul in the late 90’s that is still helping kids today earn bikes while learning how to repair. 19 years as the Director of Training at the largest swim school in the Midwest he developed an understanding for keeping things simple and teach skills that build. He saw a need for not only adults but our youth to learn how to fix the simple to more advance bicycle mechanical issues as well as setting up a bike for a better fit. After teaching a few classes what really came clear was it wasn’t just about fixing a bike, but learning a transferable skill and the amazing sense of pride in doing it themselves
