In this series, we will move through stages 1 and 2 of the Restore Your Core® program as we explore ways to move our bodies to support the core and pelvic floor. Together we will discover our movement patterns, strengthen the systems that support the core and pelvic floor, and gain mobility and body awareness. This class is ideal for anyone who wants to begin healing pelvic floor injuries and strengthen their core, as well as folks who are at least 16 weeks postpartum. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Maria Lander Cabrera is a Certified Restore Your Core® Teacher, and a 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher, through Heart + Bones Yoga. Using approaches from both RYC® and H+B, Maria’s classes encompass a movement approach rooted in functional and somatic movement. RYC® is a movement method based on yoga and pilates with a functional and somatic approach to healing core and pelvic floor dysfunction (diastasis, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, low back pain, weak core). The Heart + Bones Yoga modality employs a modern approach to yoga incorporating boundaries, variety of movement, and alignment as the foundation. Maria has been teaching group classes and individual sessions since 2020.
