Families and Digitial Devices

NEW:  Online learning for parents.  Every parent has things to learn, and every parent has wisdom to share.  Not every parent, however, can visit the Early Learning Center in person for an ECFE class.  For the first time, you can have easy access to licensed parent educators, practical tips, and the support of fellow parents--from home, on your couch, in your pajamas.  As parents, we understand that it's our job to help kids know how much and what kind of screen time is healthy, however, many of us feel this as a daily struggle.  This course will be presented in a six-week, on-line format with synchronous chat sessions on Thursday evenings.  We'll be using Schoology to present content and a discussion board that are available throughout the week.  Parents/caregivers will sign in from their own device from home.  Material will be available online February 1st.  Chat sessions will be 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14 8:15-9:00pm.
