  • Edina Middle School Wrestling

    Edina Community Education Services - Youth Programs is pleased to provide Middle School Wrestling for students in grades 6, 7, and 8 at both Valley View and South View Middle Schools. All participants will have the opportunity to compete in wrestling practices, matches, and an end of the season tournament through the Lake Conference. The season will run from early November through early January; an 8 week season excluding school breaks. Practices will be held in the Valley View Middle School north gym from 3:15 - 5pm. Beginner and experienced athletes are welcome! This is a great opportunity for new, interested, and returning wrestlers to try out this great sport! Equipment Needed: Athletic shorts, t-shirt, wrestling shoes or socks. Uniform will be provided for competitions.Student Participation Requirements A Sports Qualifying Physical Examination Clearance Form must be on file with Edina Public Schools to complete the registration. This form requires a physician's signature. If the date of the last physical we have on file is prior to June 15, 2015, or if you have never submitted the form, you will need to submit this form in order to complete registration Here is a link to the 2017-18 form There are three ways to submit the form: turn in to the Edina Community Center main office (inside door 3) mail to comedu@edinaschools.org fax to 952.848.3977 The Athletic Transportation Release is required if your student will not be taking school transportation but will be driven by another adult or student.
