  • 6th Grade JumpStart Retreat - SVMS Entering Grade 6

    ***Monday will be at South View Middle school for incoming South View students. Please park in the middle lot and the group will wait by door 11 and walk down to the city gym. Get ready for middle school with the 6th Grade Jumpstart Retreat! This fun and engaging retreat helps students build friendships, boost confidence, and develop skills for a successful start to their 6th-grade journey.
  • DASH Multisport & Games Full Day Camp: Gr. K-5

    DASH Sports Summer FULL DAY Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours learning and practicing each sport per day. Key sports skills will be taught and practiced in all 3 sports including: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and more! Also included daily are fun games such as Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Kickball, and more! Camp ends with games/scrimmages the final day for each sport, where athletes can showcase their skills. Campers should wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, lunch, two snacks, and athletic shoes and clothing. All equipment is provided.

    Will DeBerg Youth Basketball Skills Camp and League: Boys Gr. 3-4

    The starting date is 8/11, please note there are two separate sessions, the Skills session and the League. The skills session runs from 9:00am to 10:30am and the League runs from 10:30am to 12:00pm. If your child is signed up for both they are allowed to stay during the break. If you only sign up for one program participants will need to be picked up at the end of their session. Skills session This 90 minute skills session will be led by current and former college and professional basketball players. Skills include shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, ball handling, finishing around the rim, passing, defensive breakdowns, and more! Summer League The second 90 minutes of the day will be designed specifically for 5 on 5 play. Each player will get put on a team with a coach and will play 12 minute 5 on 5 games. Will be a great way for kids to compete in a tournament style. Will have weekly winner/prizes at the end of each week

  • Intro to Synchronized Swimming: Gr. 1-5

    Does your child enjoy dance, theater, music, art and swimming? Try synchronized swimming to combine them all! This class will be an introduction for girls in grades 1-5 to try synchronized swimming. Swimmers will combine a love of music, dance, and swimming to learn the basics of synchronized swimming from experienced coaches and get to perform a short routine. ***Athletes already on the Edina Synchronized Swim team are not eligible to register for this introductory course.*** Swimmers must be comfortable and independent in deep water and should be able to swim at least the length of the pool without assistance.

    Kids will have the opportunity to explore the woods and small pond next to Highlands Elementary School. Building forts, climbing trees and discovering fun natural critters in the forest will be popular choices in this engaging play experience in the great outdoors. Students will create their own imaginative play schemes, inspired by themes such as Peter Pan, the Wild West and mythical creatures. The week will end with a special campfire snack!

Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted, and be comfortable and completely independent in shallow and deep water. Check in at South View Door 11. Ballet/jazz shoes are welcome but not necessary.
