    Private ACT Tutoring provides 1-on-1 review and instruction tailored to an individual student's needs. Subjects for the ACT are: English, Math, Reading, and Science. Tutoring sessions generally start 4-6 weeks prior to the exam date. There are four options for registration: - 1 Subject (4 one-hour tutoring sessions in 1 subject) - 2 Subjects (8 sessions) - 3 Subjects (12 sessions) - 4 Subjects (16 sessions) Deciding on the number of ACT Private Tutoring sessions is based upon many factors. We recommend to most of our families to sign up for 4 subjects/16 sessions (4 sessions in each subject) to maximize potential to achieve a student's goal. If your student has taken the Comprehensive Prep Course with us, or is very strong in a specific subject (high 30’s), then all subject areas may not need to be addressed. After your registration is completed with Edina Community Ed, you will receive a confirmation email. Inside you'll be asked to fill out a form with more information. After this is completed, you will be contacted via email to set up your child's tutoring sessions. In Person Sessions are also available. Our program is open to students aged 14.5 to 18, offering flexibility and convenience for families. What's Included: 30 hours of classroom instruction: Covering state-approved curriculum to prepare students for their permit exam. 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training: Individualized, hands-on driving lessons with professional, experienced instructors.   • College Application Bootcamp - Class of 2026

    Upcoming seniors get a head start on their college applications. Each camp is a four-day (3 hours each day) course consisting of daily topics. Each day focuses on a different topic in the college admissions and applications process: create a Common Application account and start the application, start your college essay, meet with College Admissions Officers to review your essay and application, and devise a true game plan for the fall of your senior year.
  • Money Explorers: Gr. 5-9

    Money Explorers is an experiential day camp where students do various challenges to earn, save, spend and invest simulated money. The camp will culminate in a “store” on the final day where students can spend their earned money.
  • Safe Sitter: Babysitter Training: Gr. 4-8

    Safe Sitter prepares students grades 4-8 to be safe when they are home alone, watching siblings or babysitting. Students learn safety, child care skills, diapering, behavior management, online and personal safety. First aid and rescue skills including injury management, choking rescue and infant/child CPR.

    College Application & Essay Writing Camp: Gr. 10-12

    ***Bring your own device to this course. As college deadlines approach, one of the most common things students struggle with is the college essay. Navigating how to stand out from the pack while remaining true and thoughtful to your own story can be a challenge. Students taking this course will learn how to unpack what the essay writing prompts are asking of them and brainstorm a variety of possible topics for their work. Students will write and revise several essays for their own writing portfolio. At the end of the week, each student should have 2-3 strong examples of essays that have been both peer and teacher reviewed.
  • Unified Theater Together

    Unified Classes are primarily designed for our students with disabilities and students with special needs Spread your wings under the bright lights during this week of immersive, all-inclusive theater. Students of all abilities will work together to create a moving piece of performance art which will be showcased on the final day of camp. Join us for an experience you will never forget. Edina Community Ed “Unified” camps blend students with special needs and students who are more typically developing to explore art, theater, science, fitness and more. Our goal is to create a community of individuals, both with and without disabilities, devoted to awareness, advocacy, leadership and empathy through authentic relationship-building experiences
