    Competitive Diving

    ***Prerequisites: Participation is limited to divers who can successfully demonstrate dives from all five dive groups (forward, back, reverse, inward and twisting groups), or with instructor approval. Only 12 divers will be accepted. *** Divers with prior competitive springboard diving experience are welcome (high school varsity or junior varsity, or age group diving experience)!     Get set to WOW your teachers by learning proper typing skills. This course will teach keyboarding technique through proper finger placement and drills as you focus on accuracy and speed. With technology being used in every facet of the classroom and life, touch typing is an essential skill! This class is open to all schools and is held at Normandale Elementary.     Concord Choir: Gr. 3-5

    In Concord Choir, you will learn a variety of songs and improve your musical skills! Rehearse exciting pieces of music with your friends and perform in a culminating combined concert on the last day of the session with the Concord Junior Choir! During your time in Concord Choir, you will improve singing skills, grow musically and have fun! On March 11th (the last day of programming) both Concord Jr. Choir AND Concord Choir will perform a concert for parents, families and friends to attend!     Come and join the beginning of a new-to-Edina program focusing on the development of percussionists/drummers through the thrilling and enjoyable medium of bucket drums. This introduction to percussion and performance class is great for learning the basics of rhythms, rudimentary drumming, reading music and ensemble performance. This class is perfect for all experience levels, whether your student is picking up sticks for the first time or wanting to continue their learning and performing as a drummer. At the end of the session our ensemble will perform at an all school assembly to showcase what they’ve learned.   • Create a One-of-a-Kind Artist Trading Card (ATC) Collection: Gr. 2-5

    Students will use many art techniques and supplies to create pint-sized masterpieces. Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are small, collectible pieces of unique art, similar in size to sports trading cards (2.5" x 3.5"), that are created by artists and traded with others. The only official rule is the size. Our 6 week session will end with an opportunity to trade cards with other participants. Course cost includes a materials fee.     Join Creek Valley music teacher, Carah Hart, to sing varied repertoire, develop singing technique, and have fun in a community of 3rd-5th graders. We will perform in a concert at the end of the session and have optional engagements to sing the National Anthem at sporting events in the Twin Cities.     Dash Sports baseball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided.     DASH Sports basketball camps provide players with a well-rounded basketball experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly shoot, pass, dribble, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Camps ends with scrimmages/games on the final day.     DASH FitKids camp provides participants with a fun experience learning and playing your favorite active games! Games may include but not limited to Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tag games, Ultimate Frisbee/Football, Sharks and Minnows, Soccer, and more! Participants will learn teamwork, and values such as respect, hustle, and pride, all in a fun environment while increasing athleticism and learning teamwork and gameplay. Campers should bring a water bottle, and athletic clothing/shoes. All other equipment is provided. Due to conflicts with program spaces and availability, registration for Nothing but Nets at Highlands Elementary School has been closed. Athletes should bring a water bottle and wear athletic clothing & shoes (spikes/cleats are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Parent participation is required for the 2-3yr old age group and recommended when needed for the 4+ year old age group.

League format is 5 vs 5, recreational, non-contact where players will receive equitable playing time. Trophies will be awarded to the top team in each age group at the conclusion of the league. This league is for players in Pre-K for the 2025-2026 school year. The 3-5 year old Pre-K TYKES league games will begin at 10:45am, with warm-up time from 10:15-10:45am. Games are held on the EHS Upper Turf Field at the Edina High School. Players will receive official NFL Flag Football Jerseys and flag belts that they keep. All games will have hired referees and scores & standings will be recorded and posted weekly at www.dashsports.us Parents/Coaches are welcome to put together their own roster of players or if you do not have a team, you may register as an individual. All parents who are organizing a team should e-mail their rosters to josh@dashsports.us. If you register as an individual, you will be placed on a team, and we will do our best to accommodate any friend requests and/or group children by school. This league requires parents to volunteer as coaches, and we will provide the coaches with resources such as: on-line coach training, playbooks, and footballs to help run a successful season.
