    Join Catherine Earley online for a Barre class that strengthens the body and gives you heart-pumping movement. Better yet, this class allows you to connect to classmates old and new!   • Beginning Intermediate Adult/Teen Ballet: ONLINE

    Keep up with your ballet from your own home! This class will include a long barre and a couple of mostly stationary center combinations. The goal of this class is to help students keep their muscles in ballet shape by utilizing technique with combinations that you can do in the space you have at home, keeping us moving and socially distanced! You can choose to have the video on, in which case Kaethe will give what corrections she can see based on your video set up. You can also choose to follow along without video. This class is aimed at a beginner/intermediate level (people who have some basic knowledge of ballet steps, positions, and technique) but Kaethe will provide more advanced options of exercises for more advanced dancers as well.
  • Beyond a Walk in the Park: IN PERSON

    Start your pathway to success with a group of new friends while fitness walking around Centennial Lakes Park and Southdale Mall in Edina. We will focus on stretching, cardio, posture, balance, stamina, friendships and fun! Average walk will be 3 miles per week. We will start our adventure outdoors at Centennial Lakes Park and move indoors when it rains or the weather is too cold. We will arrange the walking group to ensure proper social distancing at all times. Join us!
  • Body Shape 55+: ONLINE

    Body Shape is a strength training class that combats your body's natural decline in metabolism. This modified, online class has you working with your own body weight to get you lean, balanced, agile and strong. Just as important, we'll get to see each other's faces and connect, even while practicing responsible social distancing. This class will be delivered using Zoom. When you register, your course confirmation will contain the link you need to join the class. The same link will work for each session of the class. Never used Zoom before? That's OK!     Travel to the deep water to stretch, strengthen and tone your body. You must be comfortable in deep water to attend. Flotation will be provided. * Please note: locker rooms will NOT be available for this class. A bathroom will be available for emergency uses only.
  • Gentle Outdoor Yoga with Summer: IN PERSON

    It's time to get out of the house. Join veteran Kripalu Yoga teacher Summer Hills-Bonczyk for a gentle outdoor yoga practice to open your heart and balance your body! This grounding afternoon class will help you transition from afternoon to evening with greater vitality, balance and connection. Simple breathing techniques will boost your immunity and bolster your respiratory system. Expansive stretches will bring ease to your joints and muscles. A closing relaxation will leave you feeling calm and restored. We guarantee you will sleep better after Gentle Outdoor Yoga with Summer. Social distancing will be strictly observed with contact-free instruction for all levels. Bring your own matt with and a blanket or large towel. In the event of inclement weather, you will be contacted by 11am on Thursday if class is cancelled or rescheduled

  • Hatha Yoga - for Life (ONLINE CLASSES + VIDEO)

    From the comfort of your own home, enjoy in-depth instruction as you practice a wide variety of warm-up exercises and yoga poses, along with breath work, centering, and relaxation. We'll work on the whole body, improving flexibility, strength, balance, and range of motion. No special props or equipment needed, although a mat and blocks can be helpful. Beginners welcome! Reduce tension and stress, get rid of aches and pains, sleep better and feel better overall. You'll be encouraged to work at your own level and pace in this supportive class. Enjoy Wendy's relaxing voice and easy to follow directions. This class includes two live zoom classes each week, and six online class videos that you can use on demand. You can 'attend' either or both live classes, and use the videos if you miss a class, or for additional practice as many times as you like throughout the week. You will receive the links and passwords for both the zoom classes and the online videos after you register. Here is what is included: a live, online class Tuesdays 6:00-7:15pm Jun 9 - Aug 25 a live, online class Thursdays 10:30-11:45am Jun 11 - Aug 27 six online class videos with varied sequences that you can watch at your convenience.     Are you looking for a fun way to workout? Try water aerobics! The buoyancy of the water helps to protect muscles and joints from injury. This class includes a warm up, strengthening and toning exercises, 20-25 minutes of aerobics and a cool down. You don't have to be a swimmer or even get your hair wet!
