In Person: Creative Writing Bowl: Gr. 3-8
The Creative Writing Bowl is a day-long collaborative writing experience that allows students to experience creative writing in a community setting. Through a series of writing challenges in a “round” format, based on prompts and images, students will leave the workshop having been exposed to a multitude of writing forms; work that they have created individually and collaboratively. Absolutely no experience is required; the main goal of this program is to give students a chance to experience writing in the same community setting many may experience sports or music in. Prizes will be awarded at the end, and all students will be given valuable information on writing resources. Students will be divided into age appropriate groups.
