Each 6-day session introduces a new coding activity, blending fun with real-world learning. Fall 25 Session 1: Video Game Design – Platform Games Step into the exciting world of game development and turn your ideas into reality! In this interactive session, students become artists, designers, and storytellers as they create and animate characters, objects, and immersive play spaces. Using BloxelsEdu, they’ll design and build their own platformer—a game where characters run, jump, and navigate obstacles to complete challenges. By the end of the course, each student will have a fully playable digital game to enjoy on a mobile device or tablet! Be a spell-slinging wizard, a cunning thief, or a mighty knight! After that, they’ll take on a tasty twist by engineering a fall-themed treat dispenser that really works!     Build a computer bot to compete against other coders! Whether you're new or experienced, this is the perfect way to explore competitive coding. No previous coding experience is necessary. The Code Championship Series is four online tournaments hosted on Google Meet. If you have a modern browser, no download is required. PLEASE NOTE: Players must be able to navigate the internet.
