Baby & Me: Saturdays Non-separating2021-22 ECFE, Beyonds and Sibling CareThese six-week class sessions are offered at times convenient for busy families. While you are playing with your baby, a licensed parent educator will facilitate discussion and provide relevant information about your baby’s growth, development and all those important ‘firsts’. Join us to share your ideas, experiences and concerns in a supportive, community environment. This relaxing class is designed to be educational, yet allow you to slow down long enough to have some focused, uninterrupted time to enjoy your infant. This is a non-separating class. Sibling care is not available for this class. For these 6-week courses, the age of your child on the start date determines your class section.School Year 21-22

Baby and Me Sampler Class2021-22 ECFE, Beyonds and Sibling CareBaby & Me Sampler Class: Parents with young babies, this free introduction to Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is for you! We recognize the importance of getting off to a strong start with your baby and our line-up of workshops and classes offers a great way to strengthen the bond with your child. Busy Babies: Baby and Parents (Non-separating)2021-22 ECFE, Beyonds and Sibling CareEnjoy time with your baby/toddler exploring the classroom as you listen to music, create art activities, read books and play to learn. A licensed Parent Educator will lead the class as you interact with your child and discuss your child’s social, emotional and physical development. Sibling care is available for this class. The age of your child as of September 1, 2021, determines your placement in the age-appropriate class for the entire school year.School Year 21-22

Fours ECFE Preschool2021-22 ECFE, Beyonds and Sibling CareFours ECFE Preschool The preschool years are full of discovery and pushing boundaries as children become more independent. This class is designed to offer your four-year old opportunities to build their self esteem, confidence and independence while creating positive peer connections. Parents will learn strategies for successful and effective parenting by a licensed Parent Educator while building a network of supportive parents in their community. This class covers a variety of parenting topics to offer you and your child a wonderful time together. Class meets four times a week - Tuesday through Friday, with Friday being the parenting day. Please note: class will meet from 1pm-3:30pm. Child care for siblings is available on the parenting day. Your child must be 4 years by September 1, 2021, to register for this class.School Year 21-22

You pick the discussion topic(s). Children’s activities are designed to encourage personal, social, and physical development, pre-reading, pre-writing skills and language development. Parents stay in the classroom with their child for the first hour. The second hour, parents separate from their child to have time to connect with and learn from other parents while facilitated by a licensed Parent Educator. Child care for siblings is available. Parenting Birth through Two Years2021-22 ECFE, Beyonds and Sibling CarePart of Terrific Tuesdays in the Early Learning Center! A licensed Parent Educator facilitates parents of children 0-2 years who will gather to support and discuss topics key to child development. This class will look at developmental growth through play and the joys and challenges that this age can exhibit. Topics may include: sleep habits, meal time, toilet training, discipline, social and emotional development, language development. September's topic is The Importance of Play. Under the guidance of the Parent Educator, participants can help select future discussions. This class will meet on the third Tuesday of the month. For an additional cost (half the amount of class fee), childcare is available for children as young as 6 weeks and as old as 5 years. For an additional cost (half the amount of class fee), childcare is available for children as young as 6 weeks and as old as 5 years. Parenting Tough Topics2021-22 ECFE, Beyonds and Sibling CarePart of Terrific Tuesdays in the Early Learning Center! Each month a licensed Parent Educator will lead discussions around topics that are current, but can be difficult to parent. This hour will provide support through research-based information and community support. Topics may include: Race, Gender Identity: raising girls and boys, Media, Discipline, Labeling Children, Power Struggles. Participants, under the guidance of the instructor, help select the next month's theme. Our first topic in September will be Self-esteem. This class will meet on the second Tuesday of the month. For an additional cost (half the amount of class fee), childcare is available for children as young as 6 weeks and as old as 5 years.
