Put on your toga, as you learn some basic Latin words, their derivatives and how Latin is a great way to boost your English vocabulary! Did you know that 60% of English words come from Latin? Rising fourth through sixth graders not only will communicate in Latin but also engage in exciting activities from assembling mosaics, making Oreo cameos, to competing in a mini-Olympics. Roman and Greek mythology will come to life as we study the pantheon of gods, heroes, and monsters. Ita vero, “All Roads lead to Rome”!
