Competitive Diving (Ages 11+)

***Participation is limited to divers who can successfully demonstrate dives from all five dive groups (forward, back, reverse, inward and twisting groups), or with instructor approval.***

Divers with prior competitive springboard diving experience are welcome (high school varsity or junior varsity, or age group diving experience)! Instructors are all seasoned varsity and club diving coaches. Only 12 divers will be accepted.

John Dailey

John Dailey has been coaching and officiating diving for more than 38 years, after completing his competitive diving career at the University of Minnesota. In 1987, he founded Twin City Divers, the Midwest’s largest age group club and predecessor to MDA. He is currently the girls’ and boys’ diving coach at Edina High School.
