Warning: There will be laughter and a high risk of fun. Join Shaun Pakenham and Mary-Jo Rochester for this engaging course on building improvisation skills through interactive games and play. Improv is a skill set that can benefit an individual in many ways - from building confidence, strengthening everyday social interactions, boosting theater performance, learning greater cooperation & teamwork skills and so much more. This course is designed for kids of all abilities.

Shaun is a Highlands first grade teacher who had previously served Highlands as Dean of Students and Special Education Teacher. Outside of school, Shaun loves spending time with his children and performing music. Shaun has trained and performed improv with Minneapolis Theaters such as Comedy Sportz and Brave New Workshop.
Mary-Jo is a Highlands Special Education Teacher who has taught in Edina for 22 years. Outside of school, Mary-Jo loves to spend time with the family garden and read mystery books. Mary-Jo has used improv as a way to teach social skills and public speaking.
