  • Private Voice or Piano Lessons: Ages 7+

    **Registration price is for four 30-minute lessons. Participants will have to reach out to the instructor via email to schedule the lessons. Contact information for the instructor will be sent in the confirmation notes to arrange specific lesson dates/times. You'll receive this information after you've registered for the class** You will work one on one with an experienced vocal coach and piano teacher who has taught for over 30 years. Whether you’re new to music or have taken lessons in the past, together you will design a plan that will build from the ground up or off your current musical knowledge with engaging and fun techniques. This course will address basic skills, music theory and musicality that will allow you to progress toward your musical goals and lifelong enjoyment of music. Purchase of books recommended by your teacher will be required for lessons based on individual needs.

  • Edina Fiddle Camp! Gr. 6-12

    Are you taking your violin, viola, cello, or bass to camp this summer? Or will you be surrounded by friends and family over the 4th of July with everyone asking you to play a song? Or do you want to show off your chops by learning how to chop (a technique used to create a percussive sound on your string instrument) like a pro! This summer, the Edina Orchestra Program is happy to launch its first ever "Edina Fiddle Camp" for students in middle and high school who have prior knowledge of how to play their violin, viola, cello, or upright bass! We'll learn tunes by ear (supported by sheet music if needed), how to harmonize a melody, how to lay down a bass line, and how all string instruments can cut loose and jam using bluegrass, old-timey, Celtic, and traditional folk music.   • Art from the Heart: Gr. K-3

    Expressing, feeling, learning, creating! In this self-expressive art camp youth will learn how to communicate feelings and thoughts through painting, drawing, and group project activities. Using self-leadership tools youth will learn how to organize their thoughts and feelings in new creative ways to bring what's on the "inside" to life on paper! Please bring a nut-free snack, water bottle, and a soothing stuffed animal/toy. We plan to take a 15-20 min intentional bathroom/snack/general break during class.
