Learn basic springboard diving skills, diving safety, and how to use the diving board with proper technique. You'll increase your flexibility and have lots of fun! Beginning divers with little or no previous instruction are welcome. During this class, divers will learn the fundamentals of diving including: front approach with hurdle, front dive, back press, back dive, inward dive, front somersault. Often divers will take this class more than one time to achieve proficiency in the skills expected in Intermediate Diving. When the diver is ready to move to Intermediate, coaches will move them up even during the middle of a session.
