Join the Edina Chess Club!

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, our chess club offers a welcoming community and opportunities for growth. All levels welcome! Join us for weekly games and friendly competition.

What to expect:

• Learn the basics: New players will learn the fundamental rules and strategies of chess.
• Advance your skills: Experienced players will receive expert instruction to take their game to the next level.
• Play competitively: Participate in tournaments (optional).
• Develop essential skills: Learn to complete a full game, recognize stalemates, use a chess clock, and resolve disagreements.

Registration Deadline

Registration for all class sessions closes 7 days (5 business days) before the start date.

Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
