Science,Technology, Engineering & Math
Hoop, Scoops & Shots combines four popular sports to create a fun learning experience with basketball, lacrosse, jai alai and hockey. Basketball introduces passing, shooting and ball-handling basics. Lacrosse and jai alai introduce the basic skills of cradling, passing, scooping and catching. Hockey introduces groundstrokes, serves, net play and more. These skills combined with game play provide a confidence-building environment. Physical skills developed include agility, accuracy, flexibility, balance, endurance, coordination and speed.
Equipment: All necessary sports equipment will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles, proper clothing and shoe attire for comfortable physical activities. (Comfortable clothes and shoes to move around in)

Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date.
Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
