Money Explorers is an experiential day camp where students do various challenges to earn, save, spend and invest simulated money. The camp will culminate in a “store” on the final day where students can spend their earned money.

In this hands-on woodworking class, you'll learn to safely and skillfully use saws, drills, and hand tools—essential skills for a variety of DIY projects. Whether you're crafting a cozy bed for your pup or a sleek wall-mounted perch for your cat, you'll design and build a functional, stylish piece that complements your home. Walk away with a handmade gift your four-legged companion will love, along with more confidence in the woodshop! This class is taught by a local creator as a part of our Summer Artist in Residence Program. Summer Artist in Residence Program Immerse yourself in creativity this summer! Our Artist in Residence Program is a vibrant initiative designed to connect community members with local makers, artists, and performers, fostering meaningful interactions that celebrate the arts and engage with the creative process up close. This program also offers kids a unique opportunity to delve deeply into the arts, exploring their creativity through hands-on experiences guided by professional artists. From woodworking to music and theater, kids will discover new passions and hone their talents in a supportive and inspiring environment. This camp is a hands-on product design class emphasizing creative thinking and problem-solving. Students will explore options to find, modify, and prepare 3D files to be brought to life using a 3D printer. By the end of this course, students will become familiar with the workflow and terminology of digital fabrication. We begin learning by designing and printing functional fishing lures, then continue solving design challenges.
