If you are saving for your first car, are a new driver or simply want to feel more empowered when you walk into a car repair shop, this class is for you. Participants will be equipped with basic tips to feel more confident on the road and under the hood. Instructor will give honest advice for how to purchase a used car, how to find a repair shop and basic tips for taking care of your vehicle. We’ll review car dash lights, learn to check fluids under the hood and talk through the important steps of jump starting your car. This class is focused on safety and cost-savings.
the Lift Garage is a non-profit aimed to move people out of poverty and homelessness by providing low-cost car repair, free pre-purchase inspections, and honest advice that supports our community on the road to more secure lives. We are grateful for their partnership for this DIY course.
