Just in time for "Black Friday" Edina Community Ed is hosting another intriguing Docu-Discussion you won't want to miss. "Buy Now: The Shopping Conspiracy" lifts the curtain on the secretive world of the most influential brands". Netflix's documentary Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy describes the strategies large corporations use to influence our spending in a straightforward, empowering, and compelling way.
Featuring insights from insiders and whistleblowers, the documentary aims to "expose the covert manipulation tricks to keep you buying, no matter the cost". We will be joined afterwards by Maren Costa, Minnesota native, former Amazon designer, and one of the films featured guests.
Come for the viewing and the Q and A afterwards, or just come for the Q and A.
