  • Chole (Chickpea Curry): A hearty and tangy curry made with chickpeas simmered in a rich, spiced tomato gravy.
  • Palak Paneer: Creamy spinach paired with tender cubes of paneer for a classic North Indian delight.
  • Vegetable Biryani with Raita: Fragrant basmati rice layered with spiced vegetables, served with a refreshing yogurt-based side dish.

This class takes place in our demo kitchen 170B on the ground floor of the Edina Community Center.

Namrata and Riku are lifelong home cooks with a love for bold flavors, traditional techniques, and nourishing meals. Their culinary journey began in their family kitchens, where they learned time-honored recipes passed down through generations. Over the years, they’ve explored a wide range of global and fusion cuisines.

Their classes are designed to be approachable and inspiring. They bring a warm, encouraging energy to the kitchen—offering classes that are welcoming to cooks of all levels. Their teaching draws from Indian culinary roots while celebrating the diversity of plant-forward cooking from around the world.

Through Savor, Namrata and Riku aim to inspire a shift toward more conscious, sustainable eating—offering flavorful, approachable meals that are good for your health and better for the planet.
