You'll learn to prepare a three-course vegetarian meal featuring a perfect balance of spices, textures, and traditional cooking techniques. Start with crispy, golden Vegetable Pakoras, served with tangy Green and Red Chutneys. For the main course, master the art of making Paneer Makhani, a creamy, tomato-based curry, paired with flaky, layered Laccha Paratha, fragrant Cumin Rice, and cooling Raita. End on a sweet note with Rice Kheer, a luscious, cardamom-infused rice pudding.

This class will take place in our Family and Consumer Science classroom at Southview Middle School. You will be working at kitchen stations preparing your own dishes in small groups.

Through Savor, Namrata and Riku aim to inspire a shift toward more conscious, sustainable eating—offering flavorful, approachable meals that are good for your health and better for the planet.
