Beginning Sewing

Adult / Lifelong Learning -
Adult Fall 2025

Beginning Sewing with Kim Poncius:

In this beginner-friendly sewing class, you’ll learn basic skills while making fun, practical projects like a bookmark, hot/cold pack, and pin cushion. Along the way, gain confidence as you thread a sewing machine and explore a variety of simple stitches. All supplies included in the fee. If you have your own sewing machine please bring it with you. Once you take this beginner class you will be able to attend some of our other sewing options including: Upcycle: Make Your Own Jeans Apron, and Open Sewing. All participants should feel free to bring a water bottle and a snack since this class is in the evening. Your instructor will be sharing materials with you for some fun projects so there is an additional nominal $15 materials fee; cash or Venmo.
