Create multiple unique and creative yarn weavings!
Over this 5-day class, students will be creating their own small hand woven works of art. With the guidance and inspiration of Normandale Elementary' s licensed and experienced art specialist, Mme Leanne French-Amara, students will be weaving with yarn, fabric, and ribbon.
Students will be weaving these different textures into a variety of looms. Our looms will be constructed from cardboard, sticks, paper, and wood.
Mme French-Amara has been an art specialist for 30 years, 17 of those years at Normandale Elementary School. She has also been an artist and craft creator since she was in elementary school!
