Join John Hanson, Owner/Maker of Longfellow Soap Company, in a 2-1/2 hour class to learn how to make soap using the cold process method that has existed for thousands of years.
John has been making soap for fifteen years and has been selling soap and teaching classes for twelve. Over 500 people have taken his classes and his YouTube video has been seen by over 775,000 people. He has been called the “Bob Ross” of soap making by over 450 people, which he considers an honor.
Each student will receive a copy of his teaching manual that includes an ingredient list, equipment list, his recipe, method for making soap, and sources for essential oil, ingredients, and equipment. You will also receive three bars of soap to take home.
This is a demonstration/lecture class as lye is used in making soap.
