Sourdough bread making has grown in popularity over the last few years. More and more people are showing interest in baking their own bread at home, but are seeking additional support...that's where Studio B comes in. With over 20 years teaching experience, Sandra Brenes, owner of Studio B Bakery, is happy to share her expertise.
Sandra's journey into the world of baking and cooking took an unexpected turn when her Costa Rican mother-in-law showed her the magic of creating wholesome meals from whatever ingredients were on hand. Her mother-in-law's effortless approach to provide a wholesome meal for the family inspired Sandra to adopt a more laid-back style in the kitchen. This newfound confidence eventually led Sandra to open her own home bakery in 2019, where she could share her love for baking with others. She sells her organic and/or gluten free baked goods at local farmers markets and to local businesses She began to teach her simplified, practical baking methods with others and eventually started teaching more sourdough and sustainable living workshops out of her home studio. You too can learn to make sourdough bread by joining an upcoming in-person course or take a convenient, online e-course.
