    Pickleball is a fun and easy-to-learn sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Students will learn the basic rules, how to serve, score points and rally.   • Edina Gymnastics: Gr. 2-9

    Calling all HORNET gymnasts - Come do gymnastics in the Edina gymnastics gym! Edina Gymnastics is designed to provide a flexible, more affordable option for gymnastics while catering to the needs of each individual gymnast and family. Whether your gymnast is preparing to join high school gymnastics, or an elementary school student looking for a low pressure experience, this is a great option! Gymnasts will be thoughtfully placed in a group during practice, where they can best succeed. Our coaching team is composed of high school/college aged veteran coaches who have been involved with our program for some time, plus adult coaches who are currently coaching the Edina Gymnastics program. Gymnasts will be able to build their skills, compose routines, and feel like they are part of a team!   • Saturday Intro to Ballet: Ages 3-5.5

    Discover the joy of ballet! Our classes are designed to encourage exploration and creativity, while teaching fundamental movements and terminology. Children will also develop essential motor skills and musicality. Join us today! All levels welcome. Attire: Bring ballet shoes or socks. Students should wear what they feel most comfortable wearing, we suggest something able to move in, and so the instructor can still see the line of the body. (leggings, shorts, tank tops are all options also if student is uncomfortable in a leotard and tights.) Girls/Ladies: leotard (solid color) pink tights pink leather or canvas ballet slippers* no attached or separate skirts (except 20yrs or older) Boys/Men: white form fitting t-shirt black biker shorts or leggings, or black tights white or black leather or canvas ballet slippers (thin white ankle/knee socks can also be worn) Hair: ALL hair should be secured off the face and longer hair in a pony tail or bun.   • Concord PE Games: Gr. K-5

    We'll be playing some of the fun games we've learned in PE class, such as Steal the Pin, Capture the Flag, Busy Bee, and Team Mushroom Ball. The kids will meet at Concord and be safely walked to the open gym space at the ECC. After class, they'll be walked back to Concord safely.     Highlands PE is offering an inclusive run club with the hopes of inspiring kids to believe in themselves and learn to enjoy a life long sport. We will be training for the TC Marathon Family Day running events as well as playing game focused on growing cardiovascular endurance.     Golf Squad: Gr. K-5

    Golf Squad is an afterschool enrichment program that brings Golf Professionals from your local area to your school campus to give a once-a-week lesson to the students. Golf Squad Professionals focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game of golf as well as valuable life lessons that help the students develop. Some fundamentals of the game that the students will learn include putting, chipping, full swing irons, full swing woods.     DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) & skill-based games. Players will be challenged & grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, & Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes & shin guards are optional). Balls are provided. League format is 5 vs 5, recreational, non-contact where players will receive equitable playing time. Trophies will be awarded to the top team in each age group at the conclusion of the league. Players will receive official NFL Flag Football Jerseys and flag belts that they keep. All games will have hired referees and scores & standings will be recorded and posted weekly at www.dashsports.us. Parents/Coaches are welcome to put together their own roster of players or if you do not have a team, you may register as an individual. All parents who are organizing a team should e-mail their rosters to josh@dashsports.us. If you register as an individual, you will be placed on a team, and we will do our best to accommodate any friend requests and/or group children by school. This league requires parents to volunteer as coaches, and we will provide the coaches with resources such as: on-line coach training, playbooks, and footballs to help run a successful season.
