    DASH Sports Phy. Ed Games camp provides participants with a fun experience learning and playing your favorite physical education games! Games may include Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tag games, Ultimate Frisbee/Football, Sharks and Minnows, Soccer, and more! Participants will learn teamwork, and values such as respect, hustle, and pride, all in a fun environment while increasing athleticism and learning teamwork and gameplay. Running clubs, youth running programs, and events can be found in nearly every city in the United States. Running is the perfect exercise. 35 minutes of running three to four times a week will result in improved physical fitness. Running strengthens the heart, lungs, and major muscles of the body.     Archery 101: Gr. 5-12

    Nothing beats the thrill of hitting a bull’s-eye! Learn all aspects of range safety*, proper shooting techniques and the history of this ancient sport. Students develop the discipline and skill of using bows and the joy of learning a centuries-old sport. You don't have to be fast, tall or even very strong to have success in Archery. *Please note that attendance at the first two days of club is required to be properly trained on all safety skills and rules. Attendance at all sessions is recommended. No prorating is available. Note: Safety rules are strictly enforced and Edina Community Ed staff reserves the right to immediately dismiss a participant for unsafe behavior.

    Advanced Archery: Gr. 5-12

    Come learn some more advanced archery concepts that go beyond our introductory class. Shooting at greater distances, follow through, and scoring in an archery tournament will be explored in this class. Your student will have the opportunity to continue to build on their archery skill at a higher level than the introductory class. Your student must have completed the Archery 101 class in order to sign up for this class.

    We will play games Tuesdays and Thursdays. Games we will play are Capture the Flag, Busy Bee, Steal the Pin, etc.
  • DASH Baseball Camp: Gr. K-2

    Dash Sports baseball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key elements of throwing, fielding/catching, batting, and baserunning will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove (spikes and bats are optional). Baseballs and bats are provided.

    **May 22nd and May 29th are reserved as Make-Up Days. Time and location will be announced at a later date if make up is needed.** DASH Sports Official NFL Flag Football League: This is a 6-week flag football league that includes 30 minutes of practice followed by a 1-hour game each Saturday for a total of 6 practices and 6 games. League format is 5 vs 5, recreational, non-contact where players will receive equal playing time. Trophies will be awarded to the teams with the best record in each age group at the completion of the league. Players will receive official NFL Flag Football Jerseys and flag belts that they keep. All games will have hired referees and scores & standings will be recorded and posted weekly at https://www.dashsports.us/page/show/7683616-edina-nfl-spring-2024-flag-football-league Athletes may request to be on the same team as a friend or group of friends, or you may put together and register your own entire team. If you register as an individual, you will be placed on a team. We ask parents to volunteer as coaches, and we will provide the coaches with resources such as: on-line coach training, playbooks, and footballs to help run a successful season.     DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense) training and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a snack (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.
  • DASH Flag Football Camp: Gr. K-3

    Dash Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes/cleats and mouthguards are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided.
