Supporting our students during the summer is even more critical than ever before. Math Addvantage’s "Getting Ready Series" provides a thorough review of previous critical skills and a preview of upcoming concepts. Small group tutoring utilizes Math Addvantage's "Getting Ready Series" curriculum. Our tutors have an unmatched level of math expertise, which includes licensed teachers, engineers and mathematicians. The "Getting Ready Series" will be held virtually via Zoom. The problems from the Getting Ready packet will be uploaded to an online whiteboard which allows for the tutor to demonstrate seamlessly how to complete the problems. A Zoom link and material pick-up information will be sent to you before class begins.

We utilize previously administered ACT tests, and focus on content and testing strategies. This class is held online and a Zoom meeting link will be sent to you in your confirmation email. Private ACT Tutoring provides 1-on-1 review and instruction tailored to an individual student's needs. Instructors, expert in their respective fields, handle the different subject areas of the ACT. Subjects for the ACT are: English, Math, Reading, Science and Writing. Tutoring sessions generally start 4-6 weeks prior to the exam date. You have four options for registration: 1 Subject (4 one-hour tutoring sessions in 1 subject) 2 Subjects (8 sessions) 3 Subjects (12 sessions) 4 Subjects (16 sessions) Deciding on the number of ACT Private Tutoring sessions is based upon many factors. We recommend to most of our families to sign up for 4 subjects/16 sessions (4 sessions in each subject) to maximize potential to achieve a student's goal. If your student has taken the Comprehensive Prep Course with us, or is very strong in a specific subject (high 30’s), then all subject areas may not need to be addressed. Once your registration with Edina Community Ed is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from Math Addvantage. This email will include a form to gather additional information to customize your tutoring experience. After submitting the form, you will be contacted by email to schedule your child's tutoring session. In Person Sessions are also available upon request.
