  • College Application Bootcamp - Class of 2026

    Upcoming seniors get a head start on their college applications. Each camp is a four-day (3 hours each day) course consisting of daily topics. Each day focuses on a different topic in the college admissions and applications process: create a Common Application account and start the application, start your college essay, meet with College Admissions Officers to review your essay and application, and devise a true game plan for the fall of your senior year.
  • Money Explorers: Gr. 5-9

    Money Explorers is an experiential day camp where students do various challenges to earn, save, spend and invest simulated money. The camp will culminate in a “store” on the final day where students can spend their earned money.
  • Safe Sitter: Babysitter Training: Gr. 4-8

    Safe Sitter prepares students grades 4-8 to be safe when they are home alone, watching siblings or babysitting. Students learn safety, child care skills, diapering, behavior management, online and personal safety. First aid and rescue skills including injury management, choking rescue and infant/child CPR.

    College Application & Essay Writing Camp: Gr. 10-12

    ***Bring your own device to this course. As college deadlines approach, one of the most common things students struggle with is the college essay. Navigating how to stand out from the pack while remaining true and thoughtful to your own story can be a challenge. Students taking this course will learn how to unpack what the essay writing prompts are asking of them and brainstorm a variety of possible topics for their work. Students will write and revise several essays for their own writing portfolio. At the end of the week, each student should have 2-3 strong examples of essays that have been both peer and teacher reviewed.
  • (Online) Private ACT Tutoring for the July 2025 Exam: Gr. 10-12

    Private ACT Tutoring provides 1-on-1 review and instruction tailored to an individual student's needs. Instructors, expert in their respective fields, handle the different subject areas of the ACT. Subjects for the ACT are: English, Math, Reading, Science and Writing. Tutoring sessions generally start 4-6 weeks prior to the exam date. You have four options for registration: 1 Subject (4 one-hour tutoring sessions in 1 subject) 2 Subjects (8 sessions) 3 Subjects (12 sessions) 4 Subjects (16 sessions) Deciding on the number of ACT Private Tutoring sessions is based upon many factors. We recommend to most of our families to sign up for 4 subjects/16 sessions (4 sessions in each subject) to maximize potential to achieve a student's goal. If your student has taken the Comprehensive Prep Course with us, or is very strong in a specific subject (high 30’s), then all subject areas may not need to be addressed. Once your registration with Edina Community Ed is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from Math Addvantage. This email will include a form to gather additional information to customize your tutoring experience. After submitting the form, you will be contacted by email to schedule your child's tutoring session. In Person Sessions are also available upon request.

    Unified Classes are primarily designed for our students with disabilities and students with special needs Spread your wings under the bright lights during this week of immersive, all-inclusive theater. Students of all abilities will work together to create a moving piece of performance art which will be showcased on the final day of camp. Join us for an experience you will never forget. Edina Community Ed “Unified” camps blend students with special needs and students who are more typically developing to explore art, theater, science, fitness and more. Why not join the lunch bunch gang? Bring a bag lunch and a beverage. Students are picked up from their morning camp and dropped off at their afternoon camp. The fun is supervised during lunch by the Community Ed Enrichment Rec Leaders. Please note: For classes week of 6/16, camps run only Monday-Wednesday as all district buildings are closed 6/19 in recognition of Juneteenth.   • (Online) - Comprehensive ACT Exam Prep Course (for July 12th Exam)

    ACT scores play a vital role in college admissions and scholarship opportunities. The Comprehensive ACT Prep Course reviews all subjects of the ACT: English, Math, Reading & Science. We utilize previously administered ACT tests, and focus on content and testing strategies. This class is held online. A Zoom meeting link will be sent to you in your confirmation email from Math Addvantage. Classes will be recorded for any missed sessions. Course Breakdown: 2:00 - 4:00pm | Math and Science 4:00 - 4:30pm | Break 4:30 - 6:30pm | English and Reading Registration Deadline Registration for all class sessions closes 3 days before the start date.   • June 16-30 Driver's Education: Classroom Instruction & Behind the Wheel: Ages 14.5-18

    Safeway Driving School provides a comprehensive driver education program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for safe and responsible driving. Our program is open to students aged 14.5 to 18, offering flexibility and convenience for families. What's Included: 30 hours of classroom instruction: Covering state-approved curriculum to prepare students for their permit exam. 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training: Individualized, hands-on driving lessons with professional, experienced instructors. Flexible scheduling: Convenient class times and driving sessions designed to fit your student's busy schedule, with easy make-up options available for busy teenaged schedules. State certification: Upon completion of the program, students will receive all necessary documentation to apply for their Minnesota driver’s license. Important Timelines and Planning Tips: Students have one year from the end of the classroom portion or their 15th birthday, whichever is later, to complete their three, 2 hour, behind-the-wheel lessons. Safeway recommends 30 days between each behind-the-wheel lesson, with the final lesson completed about 30 days before the potential road test. It is essential for students to practice regularly with a supervising driver, as frequent practice builds the confidence and skills needed for successful completion of the program.
