You pick the discussion topic(s). WeBalkans EU (flickr) (CC BY 2.0)Parenting: Ages 3-5ECFE Parent EducationA licensed Parent Educator facilitates parents of children 3-5 years who will gather to support and discuss topics key to child development. This class will look at developmental growth through play and the joys and challenges that this age can exhibit. Topics may include: Meals and Manners, Friendship Skills, Discipline, Power Struggles. Under the guidance of the Parent Educator, participants can help select future discussions. This class will meet on the third Tuesday of the month. For an additional cost (half the amount of class fee), childcare is available for children as young as 6 weeks and as old as 5 years. Children up to 4 months are welcome to attend with their parent.School Year 23-24

Family Education Afterschool2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareThis traditional ECFE preschool class is offered in the late afternoon/early evening for families that cannot attend ECFE during the morning. Parent and child will attend together. The first half of the class will be parent and child learning time together. Parent will leave for the second half of the class to attend parent education facilitated by a licensed Parent Educator.School Year 22-23

Next Up - Kindergarten!2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareThis parenting class focuses on making sure your child is ready for kindergarten and is intended for children starting kindergarten in fall 2023. Parents will come with their child the first hour. After the first hour, parents attend family education facilitated by a licensed Parent Educator.School Year 22-23

Me and My DadECFE Mixed AgesEnjoy an ECFE class with dad! Parents and children will spend quality playtime together for the first half. The second half of the class, the dads (or any caregiver) will attend parent education in a separate classroom space with a Parent Educator.School Year 23-24

PopularECFE 3s PreschoolEarly Childhood Family Education (ECFE)This class is similar to a traditional 3’s Preschool class but with an added bonus! Mom or Dad or any caretaker gets to come to school with the child on Fridays! The first hour of class will be in the room with the students, then adults will transition to another space for adult learning. Discussions will be focused on current topics in parenting such as sleep habits, brain development, nutrition, or other topics of interest to the group. Adults will rejoin the class for the last 30 minutes to participate in the closing meeting and to celebrate the days learning. One-time $50 registration fee.School Year 23-24

A licensed Parent Educator will lead the class as you interact with your child and discuss your child’s social, emotional and physical development. Sibling care is available for this class. The age of your child as of September 1, 2022, determines your placement in the age-appropriate class for the entire school year.School Year 22-23
