Hornet Tennis Camp: Grades K-5Sports, Health & FitnessHornet Tennis Camp's goal is to provide high-quality instruction in a fun atmosphere primarily for novice and intermediate tennis players. Current and former Edina High School players work with campers in a positive, encouraging and fun manner. Camp is designed to teach fundamentals, rules and etiquette through fun drills and contests while promoting good sportsmanship and kindness to others. FULL ACCESS: Will DeBerg Youth Basketball Skills Camp and League: Boys Only: Grades 3-4Sports, Health & FitnessThis registration option is for the full four weeks (June 12, July 24, July 31 and Aug 7). Students may attend the skills session, the league, or both during the four weeks. Please note there are two separate sessions, the Skills session and the League. The skills session runs from 9:00am to 10:30am and the League runs from 10:30am to 12:00pm. If you child is signed up for both they are allowed to stay during the break. If you only sign up for one program participants will need to be picked up at the end of their session. Skills session This 90 minute skills session will be led by current and former college and professional basketball players. Skills include shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, ball handling, finishing around the rim, passing, defensive breakdowns, and more! Summer League The second 90 minutes of the day will be designed specifically for 5 on 5 play. Each player will get put on a team with a coach and will play 12 minute 5 on 5 games. Math Addvantage’s Getting Ready course provides a thorough review of previous critical skills and a preview of upcoming concepts. Small group tutoring utilizes Math Addvantage's Getting Ready Series curriculum. The tutors have an unmatched level of math expertise and include licensed teachers, engineers and mathematicians. The Getting Ready Series will be held virtually via Zoom. The problems from the Getting Ready packet will be uploaded to an online whiteboard which allows for the tutor to demonstrate seamlessly how to complete the problems.
