In Person: 3D Engineering, Architectural & Structural Design: Gr. K-3
your imagination to life. Become a master bricklayer and use our special architectural LEGO® kits to build your creations. Be an architect as you learn the principles of construction. The main goal of the course is to introduce the concept of 3 dimensions and its role in design. Students will construct buildings, structures, towers, castles, and more. Students will learn principles of construction and use math skills as they experiment with scale and size, staggering vs. stacking bricks, and more. We’ll build houses with removable roofs, castles with turrets, and towers of strength! It might just be impossible to exhaust the creative potential of LEGO® bricks. With an active imagination as your guide, there are endless possibilities. Please bring a drink and snack daily. -

Pack your bags and get ready to explore the world as you and your team race to solve fun STEM challenges inspired by different countries’ landmarks and engineering marvels. Reach the next Pit Stop as you solve fun problems, then receive the clue for the next challenge in a “different country.” Which team will finish each leg first, and most importantly, which team will win in the final leg and cross the finish line first to win the “grand prize”? Laugh-out-loud-funny! Mind-bendingly-adorable! Awesome-beyond-belief! These are just some of the words that best describe our Cartoon Animals Workshop. If your child is a fan of cuddly animals and funny cartoons, this drawing workshop is especially tailored for his or her needs. Over the course of five days, our students will learn how to draw animals of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Unicorns, dragons, mermaids, and more! In this camp, we’ll create art inspired by adorable mystical creatures when they’re at their cutest and tiniest… when they’re babies! Your little artist’s imagination will sparkle and soar as they create these magical projects. Painting, drawing, playing with clay, scribbling and giggling, we’ll do it all in this darling camp! -
In Person: Badminton: Gr. K-5
This badminton camp provides beginner and intermediate level players with the fundamental skills of a sport that is growing in popularity. Participants are taught proper grip, footwork, strokes, volleys, overheads and serves. We will also cover the basic rules and etiquette of the game. Camps are based on the philosophy of providing all children with the opportunity to develop sports skills in a fun, safe and non-competitive environment. Campers will be divided by age and skill level. Equipment is provided. Staff ratio 1:8. -

What would summer be without a great camping experience? Here is a chance for your little camper to enjoy all the highlights of a great camping trip without all the hassle. Kids will help pitch a tent, learn camping recipes, and even tell ghost stories. There will be sing-a-longs and s'mores. There will be nature hikes and crafts. Children will learn about the natural world as well as some fun facts about the beautiful state parks of Minnesota. Your child will enjoy getting away at this week of CAMP OUT camp! -

Campers will mix luxurious spa treatments as they learn about chemistry and healthy living. Using safe and natural products, campers will make fizzy and bubbly lotions, masks and gels. Crafts, healthy recipes and more will round out this relaxing, engaging week. -

Learn the basics of cartooning and create your own characters! Each day students will learn techniques used in cartooning. Subjects like characteristics, features, exaggeration, action and personification will contribute to your child’s artistic advancement! An introductory program designed for children ages 4-8 years old. This camp helps children explore cheerleading, dance and tumbling in a fun and non-competitive setting. No pressure, just lots of fun while these young children participate in learning motion/jump technique, sideline/performance cheers and dance routines. The final day participants will perform a cheerleading program in front of their friends and loved ones. Camp staff are trained to meet the needs of young children. Youth to staff ratio is 8:1. -
