Busy Babies2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareEnjoy time with your baby/toddler exploring the classroom as you listen to music, create art activities, read books and play to learn. A licensed Parent Educator will lead the class as you interact with your child and discuss your child’s social, emotional and physical development. Sibling care is available for this class. The age of your child as of September 1, 2022, determines your placement in the age-appropriate class for the entire school year.School Year 22-23

ECFE 3s Preschool2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareThis class is similar to a traditional 3’s Preschool class but with an added bonus! Mom or Dad or any caretaker gets to come to school with the child on Fridays! The first hour of class will be in the room with the students, then adults will transition to another space for adult learning. Discussions will be focused on current topics in parenting such as sleep habits, brain development, nutrition, or other topics of interest to the group. Adults will rejoin the class for the last 30 minutes to participate in the closing meeting and to celebrate the days learning.School Year 22-23

WeBalkans EU (flickr) (CC BY 2.0)ECFE for Preschoolers 3-5 Years2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareFocusing on threes, fours and fives who may be new to preschool, this class covers a variety of parenting topics to offer you and your child a wonderful time together. Children’s activities are designed to encourage personal, social, and physical development, pre-reading, pre-writing skills and language development. Parents stay in the classroom with their child for the first hour. The second hour, parents separate from their child to have time to connect with and learn from other parents while facilitated by a licensed Parent Educator. Family Education Afterschool2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareThis traditional ECFE preschool class is offered in the late afternoon/early evening for families that cannot attend ECFE during the morning. Parent and child will attend together. The first half of the class will be parent and child learning time together. Parent will leave for the second half of the class to attend parent education facilitated by a licensed Parent Educator.School Year 22-23

Individual Parent Education2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareIndividual Parent Education is available if you would like to have a private session with a licensed Parent Educator from the ELC. You pick the discussion topic(s). Super Saturdays2022-23 ECFE, Parenting, Sibling CareThese hands-on 4-week sessions let your 3-5 year old explore and learn through fun projects and activities. Parents attend with their child. Explosions! Science is cool! This class is for those that like blowing things up and making a little bit of a mess. Students will experiment with simple chemical combinations to create safe and easy explosions. Crafternoons Make new friends and new crafts! Students will practice weaving, jewelry making, painting, and other crafts. After each session, students will have creative and special projects to take home. Builders Designed to educate your child as they build. We provide the innovative materials - think popsicle sticks, paper towel rolls - and the students create the construct. What can your innovator build with traditional and some not so traditional materials? Gardening Children learn some gardening basics and create their own mini garden. Gardeners will get their hands dirty and learn about what it takes to make plants grow. How does food begin as a plant? How do I grow a pretty flower? What makes a good gardener? Students are sure to leave this class with a green (or dirty) thumb. Little Woodworkers Does your child like to build with wood? This class is perfect for kids that want to learn some of the basics of woodworking. Students will have an opportunity to express their creativity in a 3-dimensional way. They’ll also get a tour of our wood shop right on the ELC campus! Service Project Helping others always feels good. It’s never too early to learn about helping others. Students will make homeless packs, dog blankets, first aid kits and school boxes.School Year 22-23

Our classrooms are set up to allow children to engage all of their senses as they sing, dance, create, build, problem solve, communicate and socialize. Children gain confidence, trust, and independence as their parents separate for a facilitator led parenting time which focuses on parent generated topics including eating, toilet learning, separation anxiety, and language development as well as other relevant topics. Each class provides many opportunities for your child to develop social and problem solving skills while the two of you enjoy some uninterrupted high quality play and learning together time. You will also leave with new ideas and activities that reinforce the weekly classroom activities. Sibling care is available for 0002-1 and 0002-4 but not 0002-5. Your child must be 2 years old by September 1, 2022.School Year 22-23

They flourish in an environment that supports and raises their need to climb, jump, giggle and make messes! Come and be a part of this amazing early childhood classroom that promises all this and more. A classroom full of loving teachers, developmentally-appropriate activities, sensory-filled art activities and many toddlers to play with await you and your child. Your toddler will delight in songs, fun story times, and puppet shows all the while learning social skills by taking turns, exploring together and interacting with other little people who are just like them.
