Discover the joy of ballet! Our classes are designed to encourage exploration and creativity, while teaching fundamental movements and terminology. Children will also develop essential motor skills and musicality. Join us today! All levels welcome.
Attire Leotard – pink, light blue, black, or other pastel colors (may have chiffon skirt attached) Pink tights, white dress ankle socks, or bare legs Ballet slippers* (pink leather or canvas only) or bare feet T-shirt, shorts, biker shorts, or leggings (the more form-fitting and movement-adaptable, the better) Ballet slippers (white or black leather or canvas) or bare feet
Hair: All hair should be secured off the face, with longer hair in a ponytail or bun. Avoid purchasing ballet slippers at Target or regular shoe stores. The soles of these ballet slippers tend to be stiff and don't allow for proper pointe movement.
Shoes: Should be form-fitting, with the toes resting (not curled under) against the tip of the shoe. Shoes that are too big don't allow for efficient movement.
Registration Deadline
Registration for all class sessions closes 7 days before the start date.
Late Registration: If you miss the deadline but are still interested, you can contact the Community Ed office. Space may be limited, but we'll try our best to accommodate late registrations.
