    HORNET TENNIS CAMP'S goal is to provide high-quality instruction in a fun atmosphere primarily for novice and intermediate tennis players. Current and former Edina High School players work with campers in a positive, encouraging and fun manner. Camp is designed to teach fundamentals, rules and etiquette through fun drills and contests while promoting good sportsmanship and kindness to others.     HORNET RUNNING CAMP strives to improve aerobic fitness levels in a fun and engaging experience to help attain running success. Campers will learn warm-up, stretching, plyos and cool-down routines while taking part in fun runs of varying distances. Guest speakers will provide insight, guidance and inspiration to encourage a healthy and successful running experience. Camp will conclude with an official race day experience.   • DASH Lacrosse Camp: Gr. K-5

    DASH Sports Summer Lacrosse camps provide participants a no-contact introductory experience to the game. Athletes will learn basic lacrosse fundamentals including stick handling, cradling, passing, and shooting all in a fun, non-checking environment. This is a non-contact camp, helmets, gloves, and mouth guards are not required, but can be brought with and worn. Sticks and safety lacrosse balls are provided. Participants should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and snack.
  • DASH Athleticism Camp: Gr. K-5

    DASH Sports Summer Athleticism camps provide participants with an overall athleticism building camp experience including speed training, agility, endurance, body control/balance, quickness, strength, power, and jumping. Camp consists of many different types of physical activities, drills, and games, all tailored specifically to enhance overall athletic performance. All participants will be evaluated and timed on the first and last day of camp on several athletic tests. Campers should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle, snack, and wear athletic clothing and shoes.

    Will DeBerg Youth Basketball Skills Camp and League: Boys Gr. 3-4

    The starting date is 7/14, please note there are two separate sessions, the Skills session and the League. The skills session runs from 9:00am to 10:30am and the League runs from 10:30am to 12:00pm. If your child is signed up for both they are allowed to stay during the break. If you only sign up for one program participants will need to be picked up at the end of their session. Skills session This 90 minute skills session will be led by current and former college and professional basketball players. Skills include shooting off the catch, shooting off the dribble, ball handling, finishing around the rim, passing, defensive breakdowns, and more! Summer League The second 90 minutes of the day will be designed specifically for 5 on 5 play. Each player will get put on a team with a coach and will play 12 minute 5 on 5 games. Will be a great way for kids to compete in a tournament style. Will have weekly winner/prizes at the end of each week

  • Edina Gymnastics July Session III: Gr. 2-10

    Recreational gymnastics geared towards students grades 2-10. Participants will work on perfecting basic gymnastics skills (cartwheels, handstands, walkovers) and learning new skills (handsprings, tucks, etc). Returning gymnasts will continue with their progression, and will begin to focus on routines and putting skills together.

    Hornet Shooting Camp - Shooting, shooting, shooting! Players will work on shooting mechanics, get plenty of repetition and work on the all the important parts of being a great shooter on the basketball court.
  • Gaard Performance Academy: Girls High School Tennis Prep Camp: Gr. 7-12

    This camp is designed for players to prepare for the girls’ high school tennis season. Players will hit a lot of tennis balls to brush up on groundstrokes, volleys, serves and returns. Each day will feature competitive games and match play to prepare for the high school tryout.
