  • Afterschool Soccer Camp: Creek Valley Gr. K-5

    DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.

  • Sports Sampler: Gr. K-2

    DASH Sports Sports Sampler camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Flag Football, and Baseball. One day of each camp is dedicated to each sport. Campers come out of this camp with an understanding of key skill components and gameplay of each sport. The final day is game day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a baseball glove, water bottle and athletic shoes and clothing. Balls and all other equipment are provided.

    DASH Sports Cheer camps provide athletes with an introduction to cheerleading. Campers will learn several cheers with focus on body control, jumping, and proper hand movements. Emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude! This camp runs simultaneously with our NFL Flag Football League on Saturdays and includes practice time each day and also the opportunity to cheer and display routines on the sidelines at the games! This camp includes a DASH Sports t-shirt and also poms that the participants will keep.

    DASH Sports Official NFL Flag Football League: This is a 6-week flag football league that includes 30 minutes of practice followed by a 1-hour game each Saturday for a total of 6 practices and 6 games. League format is 5 vs 5, recreational, non-contact where players will receive equitable playing time. Trophies will be awarded to the top team in each age group at the conclusion of the league. This league is for players in grades K-1st for the 2024-25 school year. The K-1st grade league games will begin at 1pm, with warm-up time from 12:30-1pm. Games are held on the Multi-Purpose Turf Field at the Edina Community Center. Players will receive official NFL Flag Football Jerseys and flag belts that they keep. All games will have hired referees and scores & standings will be recorded and posted weekly at www.dashsports.us Parents/Coaches are welcome to put together their own roster of players or if you do not have a team, you may register as an individual. All parents who are organizing a team should e-mail their rosters to josh@dashsports.us. If you register as an individual, you will be placed on a team, and we will do our best to accommodate any friend requests and/or group children by school. This league requires parents to volunteer as coaches, and we will provide the coaches with resources such as: on-line coach training, playbooks, and footballs to help run a successful season.   • Intro to Synchronized Swimming: Gr. 2-5

    Does your child enjoy dance, theater, music, art and swimming? Try synchronized swimming to combine them all! This class will be an introduction for girls to try synchronized swimming. Swimmers will combine a love of music, dance, and swimming to learn the basics of synchronized swimming from experienced coaches and get to perform a short routine. ***Athletes already on the Edina Synchronized Swim team are not eligible to register for this introductory course.*** Swimmers must be comfortable and independent in deep water and should be able to swim at least the length of the pool without assistance.

    Golf Squad: Highlands Gr. K-5

    Golf Squad is an afterschool enrichment program that brings Golf Professionals from your local area to your school campus to give a once-a-week lesson to your students. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of the game of golf as well as valuable life lessons that help the students develop. Golf Squad is a parent funded program and the students will receive a book and a hat/visor.

  • Non-School Day: Multi-Sport Gr. K-5

    Looking for a fun non-school day filled with fun sports activities? This Multi-Sport camp includes fun skills training and games in three sports: Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football. Athletes will spend roughly 1.5 hours on each sport, performing instructor-led fun skill-based activities and games. Also included in the daily activities are other fun games such as dodgeball, capture the flag, tag games, and more! Athletes should bring two snacks, a lunch, and a water bottle.

    We will play Capture the Flag, Steal the Pin, Busy Bee, etc on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:20-3:30.
  • South View Middle School Wrestling Team: Gr. 6-8

    Edina Community Education offers Wrestling for boys and girls in 6th- 8th grade. Our Season runs October 21 - December 20, 2023 Practices will be held Monday-Friday in the Valley View Middle School North Gym from 4:15-5:45pm. South View students can take activity bus to Valley View right after school. Wrestlers will be ready for pick-up by 5:45 each day. They may be picked up at VVMS Door 1 (main door by flag). Wrestling meets are still being determined with other school districts. Athletes and parents will be informed as soon as we know more. Wrestlers will need to purchase their own wrestling shoes. For practices, wrestlers should wear athletic shorts (no pockets) and a t-shirt. Wrestlers are required to bring fresh practice wear each day.
